Welcome to Midwest Urological Group Midwest Urological Group traces its history to 1945. With eight locations, the practice is the oldest and most innovative urological medical practice in Downstate Illinois that serves both female and male conditions. Our mission is to provide the highest quality, comprehensive and compassionate urological care to patients and referring physicians. Our group of physicians continue to deliver quality urological care through the delivery of state-of-the-art clinical services and continued medical education. Each of our physicians have unique specialties within the urological field. Midwest Urological Group also has a State of the Art Surgery Center with overnight stay licensure. Our research/clinical department is leading innovation in the urological community. We are pleased to be able to offer our patients the most current and innovative therapies for the treatment of many urologic conditions. Some of the newest forms of treatment for common problems that may be offered by your doctor today are still in the study phase-not yet approved by the FDA to be on the market. All of our research studies are FDA approved, monitored, and reviewed by a research ethics/safety committee. What is Urology? Our physicians limit their practice to the specialty of UROLOGY, which treats diseases of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra, and the prostate and reproductive systems in men. Pediatric Urology deals vith similar diseases in children. Urological Oncology is the treatment of cancer involving the structures noted above.
